Anna May Goodman (nee Miller), age 92, a long time resident of Aura, NJ, left to meet her maker on August 21, 2012.

Born in 1920 in Phila., PA to James and Mabel Miller. Anna comes from a family of 10. She then met James Goodman and they married on Oct.6, 1941 at Trinity Church in Glassboro. They had four children, Bettyanne, James, Peggy and Eileen. Anna worked as a seamstress for Pat/Joe Blouse and Norlynn Knit. James and Anna lived a very long lifetime together for nearly 70 years. Anna loved the Lord, attended church, going to their shorehouse, eating good food, socializing, getting her hair done, and going out to eat with family or friends. She enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies, up until her last days. Anna had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She cherished her friendships through the years.

Anna is pre-deceased by her husband, James D. Goodman, Sr., daughter Bettyanne and son James D. Goodman, Jr. Devoted mother to Peggy Ann Vasta of Elk Twp., and Eileen May Goodman-Tharp (Barry) of Elk Twp., loving grandmother to Michael Vasta of Florida, Salvatore (Kim) Vasta of Elk Twp., brother of Raymond Miller of Mantua, NJ and sister of Ida Propert of Maryland and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral Service on Friday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville, NJ
